Paintball is a game in which paintball firearms are used to discharge paintball pellets at people or things.
To operate a Paintball business, you must satisfy the Commissioner of Police that you are a fit and proper person, that the premises is suitable and that you can store paintball firearms and pellets in accordance with the Firearms Act.
To engage in paintball as a game, you must be 16 years of age. If you are 16 or 17 years of age, you must have written consent from a parent or a participating adult.
A firearms licence is not required to play paintball on an approved paintball range.
