If your licence card is lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged to a degree that renders it unsuitable, you may apply for a replacement licence.
To apply for a replacement licence you must attend a Service Tasmania outlet and complete a statutory declaration indicating the circumstances (eg. lost/stolen/destroyed/damaged), and pay the prescribed replacement card fee.
Any damaged licence card should also be attached to your request for a replacement licence card.
Service Tasmania will then forward your request to Firearms Services and a replacement card will be issued accordingly.
There is no requirement for a new photograph if you are only seeking a replacement licence for the purpose of reflecting a change to your genuine reason endorsements.
