The National Firearms Register Implementation project is underway.

The National Firearms Register Implementation project (NFR) kicked off around the country on 1st July 2024, with all State & Territory Jurisdictions and some Federal agencies coming together, to deliver what is the most significant improvement in Australia’s firearms management systems since the National Firearms Agreement in 1996.
