Two new licence application forms have been approved for release on 1 September 2026:
- Firearms Licence Application
- Firearms Licence Application – Renewal
A draft version of the Firearms Licence Application was put out for public feedback in 2024. After these public submissions were reviewed, further consultation with stakeholder groups was undertaken to address concerns raised by licence holders.
We wish to express our thanks to those individuals and organisations that provided feedback on the draft form as this feedback contributed significantly to the final content of both forms.
